I'm a stranger in a strangeland
and I'm not the first to feel
wont be the last to ever do
it dont mean that I cant reel

and its been nagging me so hard
and driving me to squeals
in the dead of the night
and all through the daylong wheel

and there were those that came before
and I know their name and song
and the words were written down
and the fears been given sound

but I need a song to sing
as I need a hand to hold
in the city that I come from
it begs for fights and then some more

All round they're signing
up and down for more
of an image-life repeating
like a mediated scrawl

and thoughts throwing in
all the dirty toweels
and scraps that i have been in
